وزیر بهداشت خواستار مداخله فوری جامعه جهانی برای نجات جان غیرنظامیان در غزه شد
دکتر «محمدرضا ظفرقندی» وزیر بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی جمهوری اسلامی ایران، با صدور نامه‌ای فوری خطاب به نهادهای بین‌المللی، خواستار مداخله بشردوستانه فوری، قاطع و هماهنگ برای توقف فجایع انسانی در نوار غزه شد.
به گزارش روابط عمومی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی و خدمات بهداشتی درمانی شیراز به نقل از وبدا، وزیر بهداشت در این نامه با ابراز تأسف شدید نسبت به وضعیت فاجعه‌بار حاکم بر غزه، تأکید کرد: گستره و هدف این ویرانی که بر جمعیت غیرنظامی، به‌ویژه کودکان و زنان، وارد شده، از آستانه بحران بشردوستانه فراتر رفته است.
وزیر بهداشت با اشاره به فروپاشی نظام سلامت عمومی در غزه، این وضعیت را «ویران‌سازی عامدانه اصلِ حیات بشری» توصیف کرد و از جامعه جهانی خواست در برابر آنچه «مجازات جمعی، پاکسازی قومی و نسل‌کشی در حال وقوع» خوانده، واکنشی فوری و مؤثر نشان دهند.
دکتر ظفرقندی در بخش‌هایی از این نامه، به شرایط بسیار دشوار و دردناک مردم غیرنظامی غزه پرداخت و تصریح کرد: نوزادان بسیاری به دلیل سوءتغذیه شدید و کم‌آبی در آغوش مادران خود جان می‌سپارند و بر اساس آمار، بیش از ۳۲ درصد از کودکان زیر دو سال دچار سوءتغذیه حاد شده‌اند که این وضعیت، سریع‌ترین روند بروز قحطی در تاریخ ثبت‌شده تاکنون را نشان می‌دهد.
دکتر ظفرقندی در ادامه به رنج بی‌پایان زنان در محاصره اشاره کرده و تصریح کرده است: مادران ناچارند در مراکز درمانی بمباران‌شده، بدون بیهوشی، برق یا حتی آب، مرده‌زایی و سقط‌جنین را تاب بیاورند. همچنین زنان بسیاری به دلیل کم‌خونی و سوءتغذیه قادر به شیردهی نیستند و نظاره‌گر مرگ تدریجی نوزادان خود هستند.
وزیر بهداشت همچنین با اشاره به قحطی به‌کار رفته به‌عنوان سلاح جنگ، نوشته است: خانواده‌ها برای زنده‌ماندن ناگزیر به تغذیه از علف، خوراک دام و دیگر مواد غیرخوراکی شده‌اند. این در حالی است که کمک‌های بشردوستانه به‌صورت عمدی مسدود یا نابود می‌شود و شمار مرگ‌ومیرهای ناشی از گرسنگی از صدها مورد تأییدشده فراتر رفته است.
وزیر بهداشت در ادامه این نامه، ضمن محکوم‌کردن قاطعانه اقدامات رژیم اشغالگر صهیونیستی، خواستار مجموعه‌ای از اقدامات فوری جامعه جهانی شده است. از جمله این اقدامات، استقرار بیمارستان‌های صحرایی و تیم‌های رسیدگی به بحران تغذیه با همکاری شرکای بین‌المللی، تسهیل پروازهای بشردوستانه سازمان ملل متحد برای انتقال مواد غذایی درمانی ویژه نوزادان، تصویب و اجرای قطعنامه‌های الزام‌آور از سوی سازمان همکاری اسلامی برای رفع محاصره غذایی، دارویی و تجهیزاتی و همچنین اختصاص منابع مالی و لجستیکی اضطراری طی ۴۸ ساعت آینده جهت اجرای مداخلات حیاتی است.
وزیر بهداشت در ادامه این نامه تأکید کرده است: هر ساعت تعلل، جان‌های بی‌گناه را می‌گیرد و هر روز درنگ، کودکی دیگر را در خاک دفن می‌کند.
دکتر ظفرقندی یادآور شده است که این صرفاً یک درخواست نیست، بلکه وظیفه‌ای انسانی، اخلاقی و حرفه‌ای است که وجدان، انسانیت و قوانین بین‌المللی بر دوش تمامی انسان‌های مسئول گذاشته‌اند.
وزیر بهداشت افزوده است: باید پاسخ دهیم، نه به‌عنوان سیاست‌مدارانی مقید به مصلحت، بلکه به‌عنوان پزشک و انسان‌هایی که برای صیانت از امانت مقدس جان انسان‌ها گماشته شده‌اند.

Subject: URGENT – Appeal for Immediate and Decisive Humanitarian Intervention in Gaza
Your Excellencies,
As the Minister of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I write with the utmost urgency and moral anguish regarding the catastrophic atrocities unfolding in the Gaza Strip. The scale and intent of the devastation inflicted upon its civilian population — most notably its children and women — have surpassed the threshold of any humanitarian crisis.
What we are witnessing today constitutes collective punishment, ethnic cleansing, and an unfolding genocide — a brutal campaign executed through systematic starvation, suffocation, and the targeted eradication of a besieged civilian population.
The following grim realities demand nothing short of immediate, coordinated, and uncompromising international action:
1. Starvation of Children as a Method of Extermination
Infants are now dying in their mothers’ arms from acute malnutrition and dehydration.
Over 32% of children under the age of two suffer from severe wasting — the most rapid onset of famine ever recorded.
2. The Ordeal of Women under Siege
Mothers are forced to endure stillbirths and miscarriages in bombed-out clinics — often without anesthesia, electricity, or even water.
Malnourished and anemic women, unable to breastfeed, are left to witness the slow asphyxiation of their babies.

3. Famine Weaponized as a Tool of War
Families are now reduced to eating grass, animal feed, or going without entirely — while humanitarian aid is intentionally obstructed or destroyed.
Starvation-related deaths have exceeded hundreds of confirmed cases, with countless others buried anonymously beneath the ruins.
Your Excellencies, our moral, professional, and humanitarian obligation make
silence in the face of such orchestrated cruelty a complicity.
These criminal acts by the genocidal Israeli regime must be condemned in the strongest possible terms by the international community. All necessary and effective measures — political, humanitarian, legal, and logistical — must be urgently taken to protect the lives and dignity of the oppressed people of Gaza.
In accordance with our shared duty — to medicine, to conscience, to faith, and to human dignity — I urgently call upon Your Excellencies to spare no effort in implementing the following actions:
Immediately deploy emergency field hospitals and nutrition crisis teams to the Gaza Strip, in coordination with international partners.
Demand and facilitate UN-authorized humanitarian airlifts of therapeutic food for malnourished infants.
Mobilize binding resolutions through any applicable to lift the blockade on food, water, and medical supplies.
Allocate emergency financial and logistical resources for life-saving interventions within the next 48 hours.
Each hour that passes costs innocent lives. Each day of hesitation buries another child. This is not a plea — it is an obligation placed upon all of us by conscience, humanity, and the laws that bind civilized nations.
